‘Trump administration’
Experts say the Trump administration has harmed the United States by silencing much of VOA’s ability to communicate with its audiences around the world. They characterize the move as a self-inflicted wound, and point out that VOA has been effective over its long history precisely because it has not been the mouthpiece of any administration.
