I believe the Voice of America is a fine group of journalists who insist on journalistic integrity.
The most effective propaganda is the truth. The closer propaganda comes to truth, the more effective it is.
If we are to be a true people’s government in the United States, we must be able to freely criticize our politicians. Citizens of any democracy need to be aware of what the facts are. And of course, this carries over in our communications with foreign countries. I hope the Voice of America, if the Congress and our courts allow it, will continue to be an inspiration for people around the world.
